Frederick Chopin has been our school's patron since 1998. It's not a long time but our school's history is not very long.
Our school was opened in 1991.

We want everybody to get to know our patron, because he was a great composer and a pianist.We are very proud of the fact that our school has been named after Frederick Chopin.

  • 22.02.1810 r.-Chopin was born in Żelazowa Wola.
  • 1817-First composing trial at the age of 7.
  • 1818-First performance.
  • 1823-Elsner starts teaching composing to Chopin.
  • 1226-Studying at Music School.
  • 1829-a visit in Wien.
  • 1830-Final departure from Poland.
  • 1831-arrival at Paris.
  • 1835-Engagement to Maria Wodzińska.
  • 1836-Meeting George Sand.
  • 1837-Breaking up with Wodzińska.
  • 1838-Relationship with Sand; departure to Majorca, working on 24 Preludes
  • 1839-coming back to France; Sante b-moll is composed.
  • 1844-Chopin's father dies.
  • 1845-Quarrels with Sand, Chopin's condition is qetting worse.
  • 1847-Breaking up with Sand .
  • 1848-Leaving for England and Scotland.
  • 1849-Chopin dies in Paris.

Frederick Chopin's parents

Justyna Krzyżanowska, the mother, lored playing the piano.

Mikołaj the father was born in France he lived in Poland since the age of 16 for the rest of his life. At the beginning he was a teacher, howerer after moving from Żelazowa Wola to Warsaw he became French literature lecfurer. After that he ran a select boarding school for sons of the best arisfocvafic Polish families.
